The Phillip Rush Center
The Phillip Rush Center, established in 2008 as a joint venture between The Health Initiative and Georgia Equality, is a community meeting space for LGBTQ organizations and others working for the LGBTQ community.
Organizations with office space in the Rush Center include The Health Initiative, Georgia Equality and the Equality Foundation of Georgia, Atlanta Pride Committee, MEGA Family Project, the Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, and In the Life Atlanta.
The Health Initiative hosts regular health and wellness groups at the Rush Center, such as SAGE Atlanta. The Rush Center also provides space for meetings, trainings and programs for organizations promoting LGBTQ health and equality on local, state and national levels.
The center is a prime example of how the mission of The Health Initiative is advanced through our partnerships and collaborations with others.
