Cultural competency training: Helping providers be the best they can be.

The Health Initiative offers cultural competency training for healthcare providers and institutions throughout the state of Georgia. Cultural competency training will help providers gain a better understanding of their LGBTQ patient population and give them the tools and tips to better serve those individuals.

Training focuses on:

Understanding relevant LGBTQ terminology
Identifying health disparities & specific concerns in LGBTQ populations
Making health care settings inclusive
We offer programs tailored to the provider, practice and organization. Trainings can be conducted at our facility or at yours.
